Product Information
Threaded fittings are critical connecting components in piping systems, mainly performing the following four major functions:
Pipeline connection and sealing: Basic female‑thread and male‑thread pipes are tightened by screwing to extend or butt straight pipe sections. For low‑pressure pipelines such as water‑gas pipes and compressed‑air pipes, white joint compound or adhesives are often applied to prevent fluid leakage.
Flow direction change: Elbows are used to turn pipeline direction. Common types include 45° and 90° elbows, suitable for scenarios where obstacles need to be avoided or layout adjusted.
Branching and confluence: Tees and crosses are used to divide one main pipeline into multiple branches or combine multiple fluid streams. They serve as core components for constructing complex pipe networks.
Pipe‑size transition and end closure: Reducers connect pipes of different diameters to ensure smooth flow transition; plugs and caps are adopted to seal pipe ends or conduct pressure tests.
